Sea Fright

Sea freight, also known as ocean freight, refers to the transportation of goods via shipping containers or cargo vessels over the sea. This mode of transportation is crucial for international trade and is preferred for its cost-effectiveness, especially for bulky or heavy cargoes.

  1. Containerized Shipping: Transporting goods in standard-sized containers, which can be easily transferred between ships, trucks, and trains.

  2. Bulk Cargo: Specialized ships transport unpackaged bulk cargo like oil, grains, or coal.

  3. Less than Container Load (LCL): For shipments that don’t fill a whole container. Multiple smaller shipments are consolidated into one container.
